WEDDING!!!!
It was the first word that appeared on my slide show during my simulated teaching for set induction. At first, I was a bit upset and unconfident to present since there are many presentation which focused on wedding ceremony. Why should they choose the same Drama? Ermm..maybe others who had the same issue with me would came out with similar question. However, I managed to get my confidence back after showed my first video of the presentation. I have prepared two video clips about wedding ceremony. The first video was about a worst wedding while the second one was a happy ending wedding. At the end of the presentation, students were acquired to response by comparing those videos. I have got good feedback from the students for those videos and they participated very well during the presentation. After all the presenters for that day finished presenting, our tutor, Mr. Harold has came out with several comments on what should we do and don’t during the presentation. I was lucky because none of his comments were connected with my presentation. Well, I thought it was a big luck for the next presenters since they have got several tips and can use it to improve their presentations. Whatever it is, hopefully I will get more confidence on the next presentation and I will try my best to give an awesome pre-reading and while reading activities.

to miss cepoh deloloh de cutest ( i couldn't stand the " cutest" one, hehehe...)
ReplyDeletei think we are also doing " The Ring Doesnt't Fit". Few of our coursemates also take it as their first option...Why?
1- I think the context was easy for us to comprehend
2- Well, wedding ceremony is part of our culture. See,now is school days..how many wedding ceremony you have attended? it shows that wedding ceremony is well-known and interesting topic to be discussed in the classroom
3- I must say this..could anybody( included me ) put the sound of kompang in their slide shows? i miss that sound since i think students can engage to the topic while listening to the sound. Well, kompang and wedding ceremony are inseparable...
4- i hope both of us and our coursemates will improve on the next microteaching, hence, we could enter our real teaching world with confidence swells in our heart...
micro teaching is what the reality demands us to do in the future...being your evaluator, i knew you were nervous so as me and the rest. we have been doing many presentations since maktab to here, but we still have less confidence to do it..i think it is okay. to be nervous is to become better!!!...
ReplyDeletehype cepoh deloloh...
ReplyDeletefacing in front of the class may get me nervous too.Maybe everyone have the same problems like us.I keep on wondering why I or u or everyone else will easily get nervous? are we lacks of confidences or practice? If both are the cause of our nervous,I think we have to do something so that we can improve our self to be a good teacher in a few years time.and one more thing do not be afraid if someone commenting on your presentation.Take it so that you can improve your presentations. By the way I am enjoy watching your presentation about wedding during set induction session.I am agree with you that most of our classmate to do the same play like you...So,be the best and remain the best.......
